This was my first thought as well. Who the hell does someone think they are when they start with an expensive domain name and think that they can build a business from that?
Your domain name / brand name is only a portion of the pie, and considering the reputation of Mahalo, starting with nothing but a domain name and a potentially poor co-founder match will not bring quality technical people to Santa Monica.
- IgorPartola 16y agoOn top of that I think I just don't want to deal with domain name squatters. It seems to me to be a dirty business and I don't want to support it.
- notahacker 16y agoit's easy to start with an expensive domain name if all you're doing is monetising type-in traffic. Not sure kokua falls into that category though...
