> Doesn't the "lake" get filled with sand eventually? Do you need to then excavate/move it away to maintain effectiveness? In the video, it seems like the dug wells (or laid piping) in the sand to allow the water to be pumped out from the sand when needed. It seems kinda like an artificial aquifer.
