It looks like a huge missed opportunity for Tesla to not be getting all those domestic mass transit contracts at the very least. Tesla isn't laser focused on high-end exotic cars, look at the Tesla Semi for example, and energy storage. I think Tesla's existing targets are more a product of their limits to production scale than anything else.
