- Apocryphon 8y agoConformity is a rational method that society uses to maintain order. It shouldn't be surprising. That's an objective observation and my own values are irrelevant to it.
- tomjen3 8y agoConformity leads to authoritarianism, which leads to witch burnings, genocide, and 100 million dead strewn all the way from the Atlantic to the Urals. Nonconformity means you have to deal with people who wear leather vests and have weird tattoos.
