Long story short: you can achieve similar performance and UX without resorting to adopting a proprietary standard.

- Cthulhu_ 8y agoTrue, but Google's going more aggressive and putting sites that use their AMP standards higher than those that don't - or in other words, they penalize good / fast websites to push AMP websites higher.
