I registered with my nickname (Maro), my real name is reachable from the profile page.
Today I'd register with my real name though, and, if there'd be an option to change the user name I'd change it to mtrencseni, because ever since I'm doing a startup I got used to posting non-anonymously, in my own name, and not saying nonsense =)
- icey 16y agoI'm in the same boat as you. I use "icey" pretty well everywhere and have since I was in college; but I'm slowly making the transition to use my initials for everything. If I were to register today I would have done that instead.
- iuguy 16y agoMe too. I chose IUGuy because it made sense at the time for something we were working on at work, but it doesn't really reflect who I am, and my comments on here don't really reflect work at all. Then again, if I register a new name I lose all my points.
- spiffworks 16y agoSame case here. Never found a site which already had someone with my handle.
- rikthevik 16y agoSame here. My real name isn't that far off from my handle so I don't think it makes a big difference.
