Well normal tempature has always been known to have a range. My normal temp is always 96.8 almost around the clock. The BIG issue is when a fever begins which was always 101.5. My son had chemo with a port. Any fevers was a automatic 48 hours in the hospital getting cultures and antibiotics. I would start packing my bag when his hit 100. I knew it was going to be 101.5 within the hour. Now this means we can have people going in to the hospital sooner for fevers.
