1) Should children suffer the mistakes of their parents? It's a question of values. 2) I don't follow what you're trying to say here? If the fed. govt. mandates paternity leave the unfairness will be a bigger issue? Sure but right now FMLA is the law and it allows unpaid leave to care for family. 3) I agree it's moot but I didn't bring up paternity leave, the grandparent did.
