There are loads of decent tech jobs in Dublin, but generally in established companies (including banks and telcos) rather than startups. There's a vibrant enough tech Meetup scene too, so even if you're just paying the bills with a mundane IT role you can still meet interesting people doing cool things. We're stuck in a major housing crisis though, so accommodation in or near the city is very expensive and hard to find.
