If after a year and a half the best you can contribute is a snarky comment that shows that you didn't read the article in question and have the audacity to blatantly insult the author, a long time outstanding member, you are doing this hackernews thing wrong.
Perhaps another year and a half of keeping your mouth shut is in order?
