I do this with an iPad, iBooks, and an Apple Pencil. Works great, and GoodNotes is amazing for scribbling random thoughts and notes as well.

- cryoshon 8y agoi understand that this is "the" way to do it these days, but it's way too expensive. the old ereader was maybe $120, and did what i wanted to out of the box and with stellar battery life.
