This is a waste of time and resources. The most likely to succeed solution to the ocean plastic problem is genetic engineering.
Develop a lifeform that lives in the sea and feeds on plastic, introduce it to the oceans.

- tonyedgecombe 8y agoIsn't one of the problems that this stuff already ends up in the food chain. If it just fell to the bottom of the ocean and was buried under sediment we probably wouldn't care that much.
