In English, Blitz certianly relates to/connotates Blitzkrieg. But I wouldn't call it a Nazi techinque. First, it was likely a mtyh or innaccurate description of German military doctrine. It was mostly popularized as a term by the English press.
But its werid to avoid terminology about german stuff invented during the time Nazi's controlled germany. You wouldn't call jet propulsion as Nazi invention.
- redisman 8y agoI thought Blitz in the US mostly had connotations to Football, not Nazi war tactics. Ubermensch was a nazi ideology too but no one seems to be losing their shit over Uber
- Nasrudith 8y agoBlitzkrieg is morally neutral as a tactical description even if its infamous users were the Nazis. As opposed to say aspects of their dogma like lebensraum, eugenics, or 'master race' ideology which there isn't any good use for.
