Because we want 12 o clock to be the middle of the practical day, not the middle of the sun-day.
- Asooka 8y agoIn typical 9-17 jobs, 12 is definitely not the middle of the practical day. I don't know anyone whose sleep schedule puts 12 at the middle of their waking period either.
