Thanks for sharing this. My thought here is that improving situation doesn't have to happen in the game. One can step out of the game and offer a new one. I.e. the quoted judgement about decentralised systems is not as grave if you don't look at them as closed systems.

My interpretation is that actually that is part of the idea. If you want to change the game, if you want to make a new game, then that is strong coordination.
