What kind of PC had 512 bytes of RAM?
- gwbas1c 8y agoProbably something like: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altair_8800 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altair_8800
- alyandon 8y agoNot sure about the parent but my family's first computer had a whopping 4k of ram.
- monocasa 8y agoBASIC on the Atari 2600 did a remarkable amount with 128 bytes of RAM.
- dboreham 8y agoKim-1, MK-14, other similar systems I built myself. I remember (a couple years later) at age 17 getting a summer job at a POS terminal company where we just took delivery of the first 64kbit DRAMs and being super excited when my boss allowed me to take some of my wages in ram chips at their high volume price..
