Or superglue the dongle onto the headphones cable.

On a lighter note, it really fascinates me how many people share your view - clearly, Apple is not doing a good job of communicating this stuff. And I only know about it because I found out from a friend...who probably heard about it from another friend.
- wvenable 8y agoMy wife has a 6S and a handful of cheap earbuds that she misplaces all the time but also uses every day. Also her ears are too small for standard Apple earbuds to fit comfortably. I can only imagine the frustration of including expensive dongles in the mix too.
