There's a book called The Hand-Sculpted House. Also Google "cob house" and "strawbale house".
- gerdesj 8y ago"Cob" includes the straw. Its the name of a construction method basically involving mud and straw. My aunt and uncle's previous house was built in the 1640s of cob, with a reed thatch roof, including a catslide. We called it the mud hut, due to our lack of imagination.
