Typical title in this AI-Hype time period. Group of people came up with a model and were able to compete with nearly unlimited training data. Wow.
Don't think match win would really mean something. Only from the marketing perspective.
- kamens 8y agoSometimes it feels like there's a secret competition to see who can author the next infamous "No wireless. Less space than a nomad. Lame."-style comment.
- chongli 8y agoI saw that comment when it was first posted on Slashdot all those years ago. The original iPod was overpriced and it only worked on Macs with FireWire. It really didn't take off until they had a USB model working on Windows at a more reasonable price.
