It is quite ironic given all the lynching by mob in india.
- mirimir 8y agoI don't follow India news. But I have seen a lot about Hindu-Muslim conflict. Such as the Gujarat riots, and the destruction of the Babri Mosque. And now the current wave of Hindu nationalist violence, against Muslims and "immodest" women. Which, I gotta say, is an odd juxtaposition. So yeah, I can see the argument for SocialCops. And a national ID system. And censorship of online media. But it still bothers me, and I feel sad about it. But worse, I worry that such conflict is happening in so many places. Especially in the US, where I happen to live. Also, this is arguably yet another impact of global climate change. And so it's likely to keep getting worse, with social disruption and resource conflict. Damn.
