I remember when H+M had that fiasco when they had a black kids wearing a shirt that said something about being a monkey.. here in Colombia 'mono' or monkey is what you call white people.. And if I see a black man dropping his wallet in the street, nobody would think it is strange if I yelled at him and said "Hey BLACK MAN, you dropped your wallet!"
