- puranjay 8y agoIt seems to me that when China undertakes an infrastructure project, it goes all out. Not half-assing anything. I was pretty blown away by the scale and ambition of the Belt and Road Initiative

- fiblye 8y agoI've been waiting 5 years for 20 years now. Not a day goes by without people saying China's on the verge of collapse.
- mrhappyunhappy 8y agoI wouldn’t be surprised if most of these large scale projects have connections to party elites thus just enriching themselves at the cost of the country’s resources.
- zhte415 8y agoNot half-assing anything at all. The China Development Bank underwrites foreign loan investment in infrastructure by 50%, so there's money flying everywhere.
