We say this, but then we endure the ads on Amazon Prime Video. But how do we cancel Amazon Prime Video without canceling the rest of our Amazon Prime subscription? Prime is like the cable bundles - how long until we cut our tether?
- kjksf 8y ago1 hr of TV on a public broadcast network (ABC, CBS etc.) has 30% of time i.e. 20 minutes for commercials. This is up from 13% in 1952 (http://www.waynesthisandthat.com/commerciallength.htm http://www.waynesthisandthat.com/commerciallength.htm). Maybe you're talking about something else, but Amazon Prime Video has, occasionally, a few seconds of cross-promotion for their other shows, not 20 minutes of commercials for diapers. Not even remotely the same thing.
- stephengillie 8y ago"Hour-long" television programs have been 42 minutes since I was a child. Amazon's ads are at least 1 minute long. How soon until they're 5 minutes?
