I suggest looking at the Holochain project. https://developer.holochain.org https://developer.holochain.org It’s operational today (prototype stage), and solves many of the problems that have prevented the roll-out of distributed systems in the past. Useful right now, and moving fast toward alpha stage, with high scalability. This is going to have shocking effects in many fields where decentralized solutions have previously been difficult to scale.
