- chrisseaton 8y agoBill Gates didn't do it - he doesn't have a PhD at all. He has honorary doctorates, but that's not really what we're talking about here.
- DoreenMichele 8y agoI think that's the entire point: Gates has honorary doctorates without ever getting a bachelor's. So, yeah, some people have gotten a doctorate while skipping the BS (if we assume BS means Bachelor of Science).
