Does anyone else think this reads almost like propaganda?
- zbentley 8y agoNot at all. Propaganda for what?
- netsec_burn 8y agoThe whole thing read like it was painting a picture of US society being utopia while Chinese society is restrictive where only a few make it. I believe both to a limited extent, but it's hard not to get the feeling this article doesn't have a spin. I knew I would be outspoken on this but I felt I should mention it anyway.
- ljj1122 8y agoyou're looking at this from a strictly Western perspective, this story was fairly similar something my mother went through when my grandfather in Shanghai had a heart attack, and anybody with a similar background can tell you this is something they've either personally felt or seen in a close family member.
