This would make for a rather unlikely, but interesting, meet-cute.
- airza 8y agoThis is just google trying to make sense of nonsense Japanese; the Xのこと is something like 'X's characteristics' (sounds really stiff, but that's how i'd concisely explain it) so のごとが好きです is like "i like 's characteristics" and is semantically meaningless.
- TuGuQuKu 8y agoThe parent comment just left out the 大 (big/great) from the sentence example 好き - like 大好き - love (lit. "great fondness")
- ekianjo 8y agoYou dont need dai- to declare your love in Japanese, unless you are an immature teenager.
- keithnz 8y agointeresting I deleted two characters off https://translate.google.com/#ja/en/%E3%81%AE%E3%81%93%E3%81%A8%E3%81%8C%E5%A5%BD%E3%81%8D https://translate.google.com/#ja/en/%E3%81%AE%E3%81%93%E3%81... and it translates as I love you :) no idea how it would come across in japanese
