Well I guess I learned something new today, open source is apparently a term that was defined by somebody and has a counter intuitive meaning. To me it has always meant that the code is available for viewing - nothing more. I assumed this without knowing anything about the OSI.

- slavak 8y agoYup. Open-source is a whole philosophy. What you're talking about is called source-available software.
