This is exactly what the Language server protocol (LSP) implements.
1) Add a LSP plugin to your editor
2) Start a LSP server
...and get pretty much state of the art code completion in whatever editor you use.
- flashgordon 8y agoThis is actually a common consensus among many idea developers. And is actually a pretty good idea at least in theory (practical efficiency is where it gets fun and interesting). Given that, I would love to know why this comment was down voted?
