I moved from a 5 minute bike ride down to Seattle from living on Capitol Hill last year, now to a 45min-1hr commute by bus every morning, and there's no way anyone is going to tell me commuting for a long time is better than being able to go home for lunch. I can't even get a dog with the commute I have now.
