According to folks like Dambisa Moyo, aid is part of the reason these regions are corrupt: governments becomes beholden to foreign donors instead of local citizenry.
- barking 8y agoSomeone described Aid as taking money from poor people in rich countries to give to rich people in poor countries. An additional difficulty Niger has is that it has the highest birthrate in the world.
