After legalizing it in Vegas I've noticed a constant lingering smell from a couple neighbors in my neighborhood. Its gotten to the point where its getting to be annoying cause most of them don't want to make their own house smell bad so they smoke outside. I'm for pot legalization and thought it was a fair idea, but like with regular smoking if your doing it within 20 ft of someone who's not and doesn't want to smell your acrid smoke your just being an asshole.Kids don't want to swim cause it smells gross outside all the time. I can't even grill in my backyard anymore cause the smoke from my bbq mixes with the pot smoke and just ruins it.
- prithee 8y agoI have the same issue with my neighbors and it is a drag. Doesn't even repel mosquitoes or anything useful, just cuts into my summer.

- mjevans 8y agoI feel this way about /all/ sources of smoke. I would __really__ prefer if cannabis were only in edible forms since that would probably be a healthier way of using it. I seem to have less of an issue with properly diffused natural gas / propane; though smoldering fats that fall on to grills get really annoying really fast. Everything else should have a negative draw scrubbed exhaust (at least a percolating water type) to reduce the fine particles.
- 3x 8y agoDeal with it, recreational drug users have been under a constant state of threat and abuse since forever. We've had to put up with a lot more than you, so next time you notice the smell of marijuana just be glad that no one is trying to lock you up.
