- alkonaut 8y agoWhat are the approximate gains from the last gen, i.e. 1080->2080 or 1070->2070, for a non RTX enabled game? Would be speculation at this point I assume, but just based on clock freqs, mem bandwidth and the number of units on the chip?

- natmaster 8y agoWhy do you need major performance increases for old looking games that are already maxing out your monitor's refresh rate? Next you're gonna say programmable shaders are overkill.
- jhasse 8y agoBecause a 1080 Ti can't do 144 FPS at 1440p or 60 FPS at 4K in all current gen titles with maxed out settings.
