Downvote brigade has arrived, so I can't respond. This is not what he was talking about, but you gotta start somewhere. I'm on an Obamacare plan myself, and I agree that it's a "total disaster". $13k+/yr for barely any coverage at all.

      Hm. I'd like to understand more. Why not just go back to your other health care plan? (or, I suppose, why not just pay the penalty?) Also, what circumstances lead to $13K a year? -- I'm only familiar with folks at the lower wage spectrum that are definitely not paying that and are getting much better coverage (read: any) than they would've 5 years ago. Thanks in advance.
