Can relate. Bought a brand new notebook but am still scribbling notes on scraps of paper instead because I don't want to sully the pristine pages. Something about the unlimited potential of an empty notebook - it could be the place for my magnum opus or my record of important insights which I would look back on for years to come. Don't want to mess it up with some random scribblings. And so it sits, pristine and unused, challenging me to create something worthy of it.
