I'm curious how you came by these theories. Did you learn them in school, from a book, or did you come up with them yourself?
If it's a school or a book, can you please point them out?
- DoreenMichele 8y agoThe Bible: "In the beginning, there was the word." If you study this, the Greek word for word -- logos -- has a rich history and meaning. It roughly agrees, I think, with the ideas above. Edgar Caycee: "Thoughts are things." The stock market stuff sounds essentially correct to me. What part are you wanting sources for?
- skookumchuck 8y agoThe Bible explains how stock markets work? That is indeed a feat, seeing as how stock markets were invented 1500 years after the Bible was written. I wonder why Biblical scholars never noticed that before. > sounds essentially correct When I was a kid, I was sure the sun revolved around the earth. It sounded essentially correct to me, fit my daily observations, and did to a lot of people before Galileo. The point being that looking at things in a superficial way can be very misleading. If you're right and everyone else is wrong, you'll need some very, very good evidence - a lot better than "sounds essentially correct".
- DoreenMichele 8y agoThe Biblical reference was not intended to address the portion of the remark about stock markets. But I think you know that.
- skookumchuck 8y agoSo you have no references to any econ books that support your views on economics. If you haven't read any, either, may I suggest: https://www.amazon.com/s?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=finance https://www.amazon.com/s?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field...
