Really ?? In Brooklyn, every time I try to get a sub without mayo, 50% of the time there is mayo. It drives me absolute-f-ly nuts. I really dislike mayo unless it's home made and with shrimps. But white industrial mayo in my sandwich, please, leave it out. Every single time they ask "No mayo ?" and I say "no mayo, just olive oil and vinegar". 50% of the time, I still end up with mayo in my sandwich. It's sur-real, sometime I look at the chef's every move but just look away for 30 seconds - boom - mayo in my sandwich magically appeared. So I'm not sure we're killed mayo quite yet unfortunately. White industrial mayo anyway.
