Slack down at our office anyone else having issues. Looks like it's IRC fallback time...

HN is quickly becoming a universal status monitor for any major website. First place I came to go and check.

  It is, but I wonder if it is because I trust it for the status or if it is because I am suddenly blocked on what I was working on so I naturally come here.

  I checked the Slack status page but it hadn't been updated yet. I thought it was me so I restarted the app and messed with my Wifi a bit. Should have looked here first. :)

Maybe consider https://matrix.org https://matrix.org and https://riot.im https://riot.im instead. Apparently hosted matrix services are just around the corner if you don't want to maintain your own server
