Is it possible to use an Nginx proxy to bypass PCI compliance for using TLSv1?
For example: If a merchant is using a Windows XP machine and it only support TLSv1. The merchant is trying to connect to an Nginx transparent proxy which will redirect the traffic to another api which will get the credit card info stored from your internal network.
In Nginx proxy, it supports TLS v1, v1.1 and v1.2 however in your credit card internal network, it only support TLSv1.2
So is it really possible to use an Nginx proxy to bypass PCI compliance for supporting TLSv1 ??
