Gelernter isn't exactly what I think of when I read "entrepreneur". Technically, I suppose he is, but I just think of an entrepreneur as someone with more on the line. It's like the old joke about the chicken and the pig and their commitment to breakfast. He's the tenured chicken providing the idea eggs, not the pig providing the bacon and working to make a viable business.
