Ask HN: Looking for help decompiling and analyzing a binary from an IP camera
As the title says, I require help disassembling and reverse engineering a binary from a security cloud connected IP camera I own, in order to produce the ability to watch the stream via RTSP instead of having the camera be connected to the actual Internet.
This is not an assignment, or anything commercial, I plan on open sourcing the code and writing on my blog about it, but I can't do it alone, as I practically have 0 knowledge of ARM ELF reverse engineering.
Anyone who cares to help me can contact me on milankragujevic at gmail dot com.
Here's a link to the main binary (camera_app) that I extracted from the camera using Telnet (login root/12345678). https://milankragujevic.com/uploads/camera_app_jfg1wv5.zip
