If you are in a sensitive environment, you put your electronics in a faraday bag and leave it outside the room. I cover the camera to avoid accidentally turning the camera on for meetings on my laptop, not for security, to be honest. If you aren't bringing this stuff into the bedroom with you, I'm not sure why people are as concerned as they are.
