Absolutely, it's a source of constant surprise to me that basically every large company (and likely Public sector body) is making heavy use of Open source code and few are meaningfully investing in the security of it.
- wool_gather 8y agoThe people who make the decisions about where the monies go aren't the people who understand this. Some decide that it is a "calculated risk"; some are just short-sighted "it can't happen to me"; some are penny-pinchers, and the ${CURRENCY} amount is all they see.
