- jakobegger 8y ago35$ per user per year is pretty decent for a low touch app like Instapaper. At that rate, they need just a few thousand subscribers per developer. I don't know how big their team is, and where they work / what kind of salary they pay themselves, and I have no clue how many users they have, but I'm pretty sure there are ways to make the math work out.
