- brightball 8y agoI committed and bought a Dell Developer Edition laptop. I wanted support in case I had a problem and I wanted to know all of the hardware was built to work smoothly with Linux without having to research each item. I was torn between Dell and System76 but ended up settling on Dell because of previous great hardware experiences with them. I’d held on to my 17” MBP until last January when it was clear they were sticking with their current direction on laptops.
