You're right. I was particularly agressive in my wording to get my point across. I will say, however, that if you come up with a static prototype based on proper design thinking, you'll be in much better shape to go around and ask people "would this make sense to you?". We both know that the key here is balancing these 2 things out, so we're in agreement ;-)
