What about closed captions for the hearing impaired ? I have a friend who works in tech in SF and he has trouble doing video interviews because of this. He is really good at lip reading but sometimes it's really hard to follow.
The closed captions generation doesn't have to work in real time.
- jpincheira 8y agoYou are truly right and this is definitely something I personally would like to implement as soon as possible. Thank you so much for bringing it up. I think that the solution would have to be just using Google Cloud Speech-to-Text to get a text transcript and be able to overlay it on the video. Please contact me via jp at standups.io as I'd love to hear more details on how it'd a good way for your friend to easily use this feature.
