Companies donate to both political parties all the time, that doesn't mean they don't have a preference. The Koch brothers have given money to Democrats, but they certainly prefer Republicans in power. Putin said he wanted Trump to win in Helsinki [1]. We also know the RNC was hacked [2]. That those emails weren't released in the same manner as the DNC's seems like evidence the scales were being tipped.
