Yeah, there exists perfectly good vocabulary words for naming this stuff. Yet for some reason facebook has chosen to neutralize their language. I wonder why?

- admax88q 8y agoMaybe because inauthentic behaviour accurately describes all those different words in a single two work statement?
- maze-le 8y agoI'm pretty sure propaganda can be very authentic, as well as incitement. It really only depends on the audience...
- crispyambulance 8y ago"Inauthentic behavior" is not intrinsically offensive by itself and could mean almost anything or nothing at all. "Disinformation campaigns to induce people to vote against their own interests", that's more precise, much better. What? Are we trying to conserve words here?
