Why not just use tikz / LaTeX?
- ozim 8y agoI am not going to draw hyperbola, math equations or whatever that is. I don't want to spend next week configuring LaTeX. I just want to plug in some js library and have Gantt/Flow/Sequence diagram, which I don't want to draw by hand or save in some binary format but want to put it in GIT repo. I tried LaTeX twice it just does not work on Windows, and I don't really need it that much. I have no time to find out why it does not work out of the box for me. Just like dropbox, I install app and it syncs my files, setting VPS with Rsync could work but I do not have time to troubleshoot it in case something is not working.
- asutekku 8y agoBecause latex might be a tad too heavy (and complex). Also, having a choice is good.
- AndrewOMartin 8y agoOne does not simply use tikz / LaTeX.
